So sometime in the night the boss apologized for forgetting me and blamed it on the meds he’s been on.

Still awaiting the reaction to my resignation. Understand that we are a small company and my position is just under them in the hierarchy of things…and between me and the other program director (who’s having a baby in 3 weeks) we run the show. It’s not about conceit, it’s literally that they will be without both of their right hand women within a month of each other.
