For some reason, this week has required a lot more “You have to stay here. You can’t move home yet.” conversations with myself.

I swear, y’all. It’s a daily battle with myself.

—I never have that conversation until King cake time and crawfish season. Then the conversations just…

I know what / who could rid us all of our Jan. blues & homesickness.. a John Mayer Jazz Festivus! Dre…will you please join us?

Well….see…..I’d certainly love to…..

However, I am already committed each year to our family’s annual Pie Day/Easter traditions and this year will more than likely be my great aunt’s last year….*IF* she makes it that long.   I must attend that.    

And then Jazz Fest ends up being too close to that trip for me to turn around and go right back.    Phooey.     But hey, if y’all can talk the Jazz Fest folks into changing the date, I’m there!  

I just realized that for the first time in over 5 years, I WILL be home for JazzFest!!
