so a few of those faraway friends i referenced earlier are in need of hugs (and more) right now. i know this, and can’t do anything about it. these are the times when those imprints on my heart are more bitter than sweet.
if you see one of them, give them a hug for me. so that they can really feel it, because sometimes words on a screen just aren’t enough.
thoughts on far away friends: i’m missing you each in a different way for a different reason. today its not a sad missing, or a longing. its one that brings a bittersweet smile. it means you’ve left an imprint on my heart—one that i am happy and thankful to have.
while i do look forward to a time when we are together, for today its enough to have you in my heart.
