I’m the director of programming for a company that provides services for individuals with developmental and/or emotional disabilities.
I am currently doing this work without pay, due to a fuck up with the state Medicaid billing system.
(but soon I’ll be back home on the bayou, so it’s okay)

So now comes the hard part. Notifying the families that we will have to suspend services for the next month or so. The good news is that it’s giving us the opportunity to discontinue services to some “bad apples” with blame going to the state.

I’m overwhelmed by what is happening with the company right now. As horrible as things were over the summer, we had come a long way, and I was actually sad about leaving. Now I’m not sure if I’ll be able to stay through my resignation date—because honestly I can’t afford it.
But where will I go with just 4 weeks left in Cinci, and I’d not get paid for a good...

The company’s corporate account was negative. The bosses were out of the country. Checks were being declined. Paychecks.
Fast forward to today where we learn that a computer error at the state Medicaid office was rejecting our billing for the past month. But deposits are 3 weeks behind with their system so week before last week was the first week with no deposit.

Well…The Guy is on his way to LA without me. For about a month. Well I will be there this weekend for 4 days, but my house is empty and I’m already a little lonely!
